Nizip Commodity Exchange once again showed its support for the agriculture and culture of the region by sponsoring the Olive Festival organized within the scope of the 100th Anniversary Events of Nizip becoming a district.
The festival excitement started with the olive harvest program held in Nizip Organized Industrial Zone. After the harvest event, Gaziantep Deputy Governor İlker Eker, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Gaziantep Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu, Nizip District Governor Osman Uğurlu, Nizip Mayor Ali Doğan, Karkamış Mayor Mustafa Güzel and district protocol members and participants came together in front of the District Governorate building. From here to the ceremony area, an enthusiastic cortege marched with the Janissary Band, with the intense participation of the public.
Nizip Commodity Exchange, which opened a large stand in the festival area, offered the opportunity to exhibit the unique olive and olive oil products produced by the members of the exchange to national and international visitors. The stand, which attracted great attention from visitors, once again revealed Nizip's agricultural trade potential.
At the festival, which aims to introduce Nizip's green gold, olives and olive oil, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Chairman of the Board of Directors, İbrahim Sarı, for his valuable contributions. President İbrahim Sarı accepted the plaque on behalf of the stock exchange and all its members and emphasized that they will continue to take part in every platform for the development and promotion of Nizip.
After the official opening, Nizip Commodity Exchange Council Members visited the other stands in the festival area one by one, met with the producers and participants and shared the festival enthusiasm.
