The Implementation Communiqué of the Decision Not to Make Support Payments to Farmers Who Have Electricity Debts for Agricultural Irrigation in 2016 Until These Debts Are Paid was published in the Official Gazette. According to the decision:
(1) The company matches the electricity consumption records with the ÇKS records and transmits the receivable amount to the Bank, together with the Republic of Turkey identification number or tax identification number of the farmers to whom it is credited.
(2) The Bank does not pay the support fees of those who match the Republic of Turkey identification number or tax identification number of the farmers or legal entities in the summaries of payment basis, communicated to them by the General Directorate, and the Republic of Turkey identification number or tax identification number of the consumer who has electricity debt, communicated by the Company.
(3) In order for the payment to be made to the Company's debtors, the document received from the Company within the last month before the application date to the Bank in order to receive the support entitlements of the farmer or legal entity must be submitted to the Bank.
(4) Objection regarding the debt is made to the Company. In case of disagreement, private law provisions apply.
Other transactions
ARTICLE 5 – (1) The General Directorate sends the support payment electronically to the address notified by the Company at the planning stage.
(2) The Company transmits the lists showing the debtors' information and debt amounts to the Bank at least three business days before the payment is made.
(3) In case of written application of the farmer to the Bank, the amount of support he deserves up to the amount of debt notified to the bank can be transferred to the company's account. After the offsetting process, if farmers have any remaining receivables, this balance amount is paid to the farmers.
(4) Upon the request of the company, the General Directorate shares data from ÇKS within the scope of the Protocol.
(5) Legal responsibility for the content of the documents issued belongs to the party issuing the document.
