The general secretaries and assistants of the provincial/district chambers and commodity exchanges of the Gaziantep Region are Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli attended the General Secretaries meeting held at Nizip Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting was attended by Gaziantep Commodity Exchange Deputy General Secretary Özgür Bayram, Gaziantep Commodity Exchange Deputy General Secretary Cem Bayram, Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Deputy General Secretary Figen Çeliktürk, Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Deputy General Secretary Yusuf İymen, İslahiye Chamber of Commerce General Secretary Haşim Erdoğan, Nizip Commodity Exchange General Secretary VM Eray Ölçal, Nizip Chamber of Commerce General Secretary Serpil Gündoğdu and Nizip Commodity Exchange General Secretary. Deputy Secretary Abuzer Küpeli attended.
The meeting started with a reminder of the issues discussed in the meeting held last month. Later, the issues brought up at the 8th Trade and Industry Sura were evaluated. The positive aspects of including pistachios within the scope of incentives and their reflections on the Antep economy were evaluated. It was evaluated that separating the incentive system according to districts would create more positive effects and find the true meaning of the incentive. Prof.Dr. said that now is the time to make technological moves and studies should shift in this direction. It was emphasized by Türkay Dereli.
The meeting ended after it was decided that the next meeting would be held in İslahiye on May 20, 2015.
