Nizip Commodity Exchange Awarded the First Crop Red Pistachio of the Year

Duhan Danabas, the farmer who produced hazelnuts, the first crop of the new year, was rewarded by Nizip Commodity Exchange.

Duhan Danabas from Yeserti Rural District of Nizip brought the first crop of hazelnuts he grew to Nizip Commodity Exchange.

Nizip Commodity Exchange Chairman İbrahim Sarı congratulated farmer Duhan Danabas by awarding him half a gold coin.

Stating that the first crop was rewarded to encourage peanut production, Mayor Sarı said the following at the award ceremony. As Nizip Commodity Exchange, we rewarded our farmer who brought the first crop this year, as every year, in order to encourage Pistachio production. "I would like to thank farmer Duhan Danabas from Yeserti Rural District, who called us yesterday and said that he grew fresh hazelnuts," he said.

İbrahim Sarı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nizip Commodity Exchange, said that the peanut yield was lower this year compared to last year; "However, I think we have achieved quality in the product this year, I hope the 2019 Pistachio season will be beneficial and fruitful for the farmers of our region," he said.

Farmer Duhan Danabas thanked Nizip Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board of Directors İbrahim Sarı and the members of the Assembly and Board of Directors for the award, which was made for incentive purposes and has become a tradition, and underlined that they will work harder for a more productive and higher quality season.
