The Mediterranean Regional Meeting was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), hosted by TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Consultation was held at the event that brought together the presidents and general secretaries of the chambers and commodity exchanges in the Region.
Nizip Commodity Exchange Chairman İbrahim Sarı and General Secretary Mehmet Eray Ölçal attended the Regional Meeting.
At the meeting, which included information about the activities carried out especially in the last 6 months, TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the work carried out for the members of the chambers and commodity exchanges should be well explained.
While a comprehensive presentation was made about the developments in the economy at the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave information about what they want for the private sector in the recent period, what has been implemented and what has changed. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu underlined that they reached 1 million 200 thousand employment figures in 6 months.
Pointing out that the growth figures are pleasing, TOBB President stated that they believe that this high growth will continue until the end of the year. Hisarcıklıoğlu also added that investments should be increased. The results of the survey conducted among council members were also evaluated at the meeting.
